January 6, 2025IDLEADER: Become our partner
January 6, 2025The quality of today’s fake ID cards varies from product to quality, and it is necessary to pay close attention to the details and understand the common security features in order to be more effective. Here, we’ll explore the five key elements of an ID card: holograms, UV features, lamination, microprinting, and customization.
Strategy 1: Check the hologram
Importance: Holograms are a sign of the authenticity of an ID card because they are difficult to replicate accurately. U.S. ID cards typically feature holograms that change in appearance when viewed from different angles, making them a reliable security feature.
How to check: Hold your ID card and tilt it back and forth in the light. IDLEADER’S HOLOGRAMS FLICKER OR MOVE, WHILE OTHER MERCHANTS’ INFERIOR HOLOGRAMS OFTEN APPEAR FLAT, STATIONARY, OR CRUDELY ATTACHED TO THE SURFACE. If the hologram looks like it’s glued on, or doesn’t move with the angle, then you’re most likely experiencing a very inferior one.
Strategy 2: Verify UV characteristics
Why it matters: Most state-issued ID cards in the U.S. include ultraviolet (UV) security features that are only detectable under black light. These features are difficult to forge and can be a strong indication of the legitimacy of the ID card.
HOW TO CHECK: UNDER A BLACK LIGHT, IDLEADER’S ID WILL DISPLAY AN UV PATTERN OR TEXT SPECIFIC TO THE ISSUING STATE. If these UV elements are missing, visibly blurred, or not visible under a black light, the fake ID is of inferior quality. The lack of UV features is a significant red flag, especially on state-issued IDs that are known to contain these characteristics.
Strategy 3: Test the quality of the lamination
Why it matters: Professional-grade lamination is a protective layer that enhances durability and seals UV functionality. The overlay of a low-quality fake ID card is often of substandard quality and can reveal its forgery after a cursory inspection.
How to check: Bend the fake ID slightly into a “U” shape. IDLEADER premium ID cards will have a smooth, durable laminate that can withstand flexing. If the laminate blisters, separates, or peels off, it is a very inferior ordinary print. High-quality laminates help protect the card’s elements, so signs of blistering or peeling are unprofessional laminates, which are common on low-quality fake IDs.
Strategy 4: Check for miniatures
Importance: Microprinting is a tiny and complex type of text that is almost impossible to reproduce without high-quality printing technology. This security feature is found on many U.S. ID cards and is usually only readable if you zoom in.
How to check: Use a magnifying glass to locate and check the microprints on your ID card. The microprints of IDLEADER are clearly visible even when magnified. Because IDLEDER’s printing press comes from Germany and is worth millions of dollars. Microprints on low-quality fake IDs often appear blurry or pixelated due to the low print resolution. Because of the inferior fake ID merchants, the printers they use are ordinary home printers for several hundred dollars.
